It only established its fistball association in 2005 and formed a national fistball squad in 2007.It's World Games fistball team is composed primarily of volleyball players who had never participated in an international fistball competition before this weekend's tournament in Kaohsiung.Fistball, an ancient sport dating back to 240 A.D., combines characteristics from tennis and volleyball and is played on a 20-meter by 50-meter court.As in volleyball, one team can only touch the ball up to three times before hitting it to the other side, but, as in tennis, the ball can bounce once before each touch.(KOC-CNA story by Chen Chun-yen)
